Can you Freeze Pillsbury's crescents/grands biscuits?

I was wondering because i have some i haven't used and may get more on a good deal but won't be able to eat them in a reasonable amount of time, i thought about freezing them but afraid thawing will effect them badly, has anyone ever tried this?

  1. I did it by accident once. I'm not sure what kind it was but it was some kind of biscuits. I cooked them anyways and if I remember right they didn't turn out as fluffy as they normally would have, but I don't remember getting sick or anything. I don't know, there has to be some reason why they say to refrigerate and not freeze. I would hate for you to get sick on my account!

  2. I froze Grands once but when I baked them they were pretty flat and didn't have the same taste--they tasted old or freezer burned.

  3. I don't think it would make u sick. Just might not turn out as they should, like less fluffy. I know all about food handling and safety so i don't believe it would make u sick if just in the freezer a couple months, a couple years might be another story.
