Flip-Flop Socks

I wanted some socks I could wear with my flip flops since i live in flip flops. At the Epcot Japan store they sell them.
1. Put on a pair of socks and either measure the length needed to cut in between the big and next toe or go ahead a carefully cut as deep as needed.
2. Reverse sock (pull off) so it is inside out.
3. Carefully sew the area you cuts so that it would form a area for the big toe to go and an area for the rest to go. Sort of like a V shape. (I hand stitched mine and double stitched it, I recommend this to insure they can last through lots of use)
4. Turn right side out and try on to make sure they fit, All Done!
I made one pair (tester) for myself and one for my husband. I would test out on an old pair of socks unless you are super comfy with sewing.

My coupon organizer

This is my new coupon box, i used to used those coupon organizer plastic thingys but my coupons starting overflowing out of it. So a couple weeks ago I found this box at a new Staples. This is an amazing box because it has track system in it, so if you have one coupon you can have it tight or have 1000 you adjust it so they all stay neatly in their files. The cards came separate. Cost about $20 or so.
I only have 6 months worth of files because I ran out of cards. The blue ones are months, the yellow are non-food, the orange are food/edible items.
This is the same kind of box that Walgreens (at least the one i worked at) used to organize their weekly ad tags. The only place I've seen them is at Staples and they come in 3 different sizes, mine is 4 x 6.

Pictures

So here are a few pictures I just took of my (sans makeup) and my honey Rob at his desk doing his daily activity of playing WOW.

Religion for the Week

Above is a bookmarker that I received for my grandma Dorothy's funeral almost 2 1/2 years ago. One side has the poem, that you see and I use this in my bible.
This is my Bible and it was gift from a church I attended as a child. It is perfect for me because if i could pick out any bible it would be white with silver writing.

Ok so if you know me then ya know I believe in god and was baptised a Methodist; however I do not go to church. I do pray daily and am slowly reading the bible. And after I read a chapter in my bible last night, I was flipping through to random pages and found a few verses I liked. I decided to share them with my christian readers.
Proverbs 18:22
"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord."
Proverbs 19:1
"Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool."
Proverbs 27:1
"Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth."
Proverbs 28:25
"He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat."
Romans 8:39
"Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
2 Corinthians 7:16
"I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things."

Rumor?

I read somewhere on the internet that the price of stamps may be going up in May.....so better start buying those Forever Stamps, unless you go through'em quickly. And might wanna get a few extra before the rate hike because right now they are 42 cents and they last FOREVER!

Other than that tid bit, I just finished clipping coupons and planning my deals this week. Think i'll skip shopping today. Rob's still in bed, he says because it's too cold. I already got dinner started (boneless pork ribs in slow-cooker w/ BBQ sauce; smells like a McRib lol). Not sure how i'll spend the rest of my day, maybe finish my homework, trim Max's hair, plan my week a bit, just not sure.
